A coach trip to Hatfield House is being arranged for Thursday 28th July.
With or without Covid, we continue to ensure that Fellowship House is kept in tip top form to serve the community
Because of the ongoing uncertainty regarding Covid, we have decided to delay the New Year start up of some activities at Fellowship House until February 1st. The activities which will have a delayed start are:
Tuesday Talks, Music Appreciation, Film Club, Choir, Indoor Zumba, Country Dancing, Dance, Yoga, Coffee Morning, Art Gallery.
Towards the end of January it will be decided if a February 1st start up of these activities is prudent.
In the meantime, Fellowship House remains open for all other activities. If you are uncertain about anything, please call Jill Purdie on 0208 458 5042
Please be advised that regretfully these are suspended for Covid reasons until further notice from 13th December. We shall keep the matter under close review and very much hope that we can restart the talks as soon as possible in the New Year. Sally has already arranged a full programme going forward to April !
Fellowship House is now open.
The normal summer lull with thin activity will take us through August then in September, things begin in earnest with all the usual classes and activities expected to be up and running.
A full programme of Tuesday afternoon talks has been arranged, starting on September 7th and continuing up until the end of the year. Full details here: ‘Weekly Talks’.
Also starting in early September is the first of three exhibitions in the Art Gallery (Eileen Whelan Room). This will feature material from the HGS Trust Archives and details will follow. After that, two further art exhibitions have already been arranged.
The traditional series of six consecutive autumn Sunday afternoon chamber concerts will again take place (11th year), starting on 24th October. A stellar programme with stellar musicians is in place and details will follow.
Covid protocol? We insist that any person over the age of 18 entering Fellowship House must be double jabbed and be without possible Covid symptoms.
It’s good to be back.
It may actually be happening this time. Barring fresh variants and lockdowns, Fellowship activities will be restarting gradually in four steps: April, mid May, late June and early September in line with Government rules. For details keep your eye on the website Activities page or phone Jill Purdie on 8458-5042. Club Membership details will be issued in about 3 months time. Tuesday afternoon talks will begin in September. Three art exhibitions are already planned for the gallery in the Eileen Whelan Room for the September-December period.

Mid February. Hard lockdown, cold outside but Fellowship House again lit and warm.
