‘Mrs Henderson Presents’

This is a 2005 biographical musical comedy-drama, directed by Stepen Frears.  It tells the true story of Laura Henderson an eccentric British socialite who opened the Windmill theatre in London in 1931 with Judi Dench brilliant as Mrs Henderson and Bob Hoskins as Vivian van Damm.   They introduced nudity in 1937, after a struggle with the Lord Chamberlain, in order to stop losing money and the Windmill stayed open during all of World War Two.
