Fellowship House once again brought in the New Year with a magnificent recital. International soprano and former Suburb resident Lucy Knight enchanted. Piano accompanist, Wagner authority and current Suburb resident, Barry Millington, impressed. Composers from both sides of the Atlantic were summoned up – Purcell, Gurney, Quilter, Herbert, Gershwin and Bernstein. The occasion was the festive New Year party on January 8th for Fellowship members only – one of the main perks of membership it has to be said.
